400 LB Elephant Five Takeaways From FinCon

  1. Focus- A sales trainer used to tell me: “you to have a laser-like focus.” Commit to paying off your bills on time, check your credit score, get a side hustle, and don’t forget to trust the process. You cannot half step when it comes to paying off your debt, either you’re in or you’re out… When it comes to your finances and larger goals, build this habit; “does this support the life I’m trying to create”.
  2. Determination- Why is my go-to word. I think all my blog posts have “why” in the title. Is your “why” breaking the chains of generational poverty? Is your “why” creating generational wealth? Start with the end goal in mind. What is going to keep you going when times get hard?
  3. Grace & Mercy-Don’t beat yourself up because you overspent on one or two of your cash envelopes. It happens to the best of us.
  4. Goals- Write them down. Make 30 minutes in your week and write down your goals for the week on a calendar. Saying you’re going to get rich or waiting until you get a raise isn’t the answer. Incremental changes, achievements, and records are more attainable than lofty wishes. Give yourself deadlines, write them down, share them with a friend and commit to achieving your goals. 5. Bringing you great content. My goal is to never half step or come incorrect. I want to continuously bring my 400LB Elephant Tribe great data and content that matters. Shoot me a message with content and data you all want to see!
